Busyness does not translate to business

Have you ever had those days were you feel so busy, but at the end you ask yourself, “What did I really achieve today?” Yes, I was busy… busy being busy. Busyness does not translate to business.

Busyness is doing stuff. It’s engaging in things that do not relate to urgent and important priorities. In fact, its not urgent and not important. It’s distraction, bad habit and possibly addiction and preoccupation. It’s escape activity from what really matters.

Anything we do that does not take us to where we want to go, is only wasting time.

The remedy to busyness is direction, and prioritising. Figure that out, and we remove the symptoms.
