Are you trustworthy?

Have you ever known someone who’s ability you believed in, but whose character was questionable. Or how about someone who’s character seemed all so good, nice, together and pleasant but who had little ability and skill to do the job?

Trust is an assured reliance on the strength and character of someone or something. In terms of relationships, we trust those who are both able and willing to get things done… without both character and competence, we would have reason to doubt.

One cannot experience trust with another if both parties are not trustworthy (or worthy of trust in their own character and competence). Our word must be our bond, and if we commit to a task – see it right through to the end.

How is trust earned? The same way you eat an elephant. One bite at a time:-)
